Ticket Terms and Conditions

Please read and understand the following terms and conditions as they are binding for all ticket purchases.

Event - the conference Learning from the Bees

The Organiser - The Natural Beekeeping Trust

Ticket Holder - The holder of a ticket to the event

Ticket Purchaser - The purchaser of a ticket to the event

Terms and Conditions

​

Tickets cannot be exchanged for another ticket type, however you may transfer your ticket to another person if you inform the Organiser to whom you will be transferring the ticket at least 2 weeks in advance of the conference. The Organiser will not be offering a ticket transfer service.

Ticket Cancellation Policy: This cancellation policy only applies to the Ticket Purchaser;

​

  • Full refund is available for 14 days after purchase for purchases before March 18th 2023 thereafter:

  • Cancellation before 30th November: Full refund minus payment processing and admin costs of £20.

  • Cancellation between 1st December and 31st January 50% refund of conference fee

  • Cancellation after 1st February no refund

  • Tickets will be refunded if the event is cancelled.

If you lose your electronic ticket you will need to provide ID and the email address you booked your ticket with. We advise in this case that you attend registration as early as possible.

 

The Organiser reserves the right without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any persons whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming.

 

The Organiser may vary the advertised programme and event times without prior notice.

The Organiser may use the Ticket Holder's image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph or picture.

The Organiser may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, Government restrictions or any other causes beyond the Organiser's reasonable control.

 

The Organiser shall not be liable to the Ticket Holder and or Ticket Purchaser for any interruptions, interferences, delays, or omissions of any kind in the Event or for any loss or damage to the Ticket Holder and or Ticket Purchaser arising therefrom unless the same is the result of the negligence of the Organiser in which case the Organiser shall be liable to the extent specified below;

  • The Organiser accepts liability for loss or damage caused to the the Ticket Holder and or Ticket Purchaser but not to any third party to the extent that it results directly from the negligence of the Organiser for death or personal injury or fraud without limit.

  • In any other case the Organiser's total liability in connection with this Event shall not exceed ticket fees received from the Ticket Purchaser by the Organiser.

 

Information is collected from those registering with the Event in order to facilitate ticket purchase. This information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these conditions.

 

Any complaints regarding the event will be directed to and dealt with by the Organiser.

 

These terms and conditions shall in all respects be construed according to English Law.

PRIVACY POLICY

What information do we collect?

​

We collect information from you when you purchase a ticket or make a donation. We use third party ticket specialist Ticket Tailor to manage the ticket sales, delivery and management of Event tickets. You may find their privacy policy here: https://www.tickettailor.com/privacy-policy/

We do not collect your card details when you purchase a ticket, it is collected directly by our third party payment processors PayPal and Stripe who specialise in secure payments.

We use MailChimp for managing our mailing list. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. You can may find their privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

We use Google Analytics to obtain information about you when you visit our site. This may include the pages you visit, when and your general geographic location.

What do we use your information for?

​

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: To process your transactions, keep you informed, printing tickets, managing your visit to the Event, and improving the performance of our web site.

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

 

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. The Arboreal Apiculture Salon mailing list may be shared with Apis Arboreal and follow the privacy policies outlined in this statement.

Transferring your information outside of Europe

​

As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the UK and European Union ("EU"). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the UK. By submitting your personal data, you're agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing. The Trust will only use suppliers who are GDPR compliant or have similar recognised privacy practices such as the Privacy Shield Framework.
